The Henson Family has announced a proposed gift of 500-700 puppets, props, drawings and other items to be included in a new Jim Henson Wing as part of the Center of Puppetry Arts’ new museum space tentatively scheduled for a 2012 opening in Atlanta. A small part of that collection can be seen in three different exhibits currently at the Center.

Jim Henson: A Man and His Frog focuses on Jim Henson on Kermit and features photography and a photo puppet.
Jim Henson: Puppeteer, which opened at the Center on September 23rd, 2007, features puppets that Jim performed, as well as photography, sketches and behind the scenes video.
Jim Henson: Wonders From His Workshop, which opens on September 16th, will feature the technological advances that Jim and his collaborators made to the world of puppetry.
