Jim Henson Inducted to Prince George’s County Hall Of Fame

April 23, 2006 - Jim Henson was inducted into the Prince George’s County Hall Of Fame at a ceremony on Sunday, April 23. Jane Henson and Cheryl Henson attended the ceremony. Prince George’s County houses both the town of University Park, where Jim’s family moved when he was in the fifth grade, and the University of Maryland, which boasts Jim as an alumnus and honored him in 2003 with a life-sized statue on the campus.
